Webquest

I've always been a do it as I go type of person, so here is my completed webquest. I used google sites. If anyone happens to view this early please let me know if there are any viewing problem. I sent it out to a few people to test it, but it had a success rate of 85%.

  1. Anna, very nice Multimedia lesson. Carnival of the Animals is a really fun piece for students of all ages (even college). What I liked most about your lesson was the process section. You asked a lot of specific questions for the students to research, rather than telling them what they have to do. I think this is a good motivational factor.

  2. Anna, I loved your webquest. It seems like a lot of fun to complete. I really love the idea of creating a zoo exhibit in relation to Carnival of the Animals! You present the project quite nicely, and provide your students with a lot of great questions to get started!

  3. Great WebQuest, Anna! It's such a great connection to Carnival of the Animals. Your process section seems as if it would get students to follow a more organic and natural process of learning. It leads them down the correct path, but lets them explore in their own style along the way. Great work!

  4. Anna, Good Job! I thought it was very creative how you incorporated pictures and video. I enjoyed how you prompted students in the process section by asking stimulating questions. I also enjoyed that you used Google sites. Would you encourage other teachers to use google sites or was it more trouble than it was worth?
    Good Job!

  5. I thought this was great! Including the different links to the movements was really great, it made things a lot easier to navigate. I'm also glad that someone else used Google sites. I thought it worked out very well for your project. The layout was very clean and easy to read. Overall, I really liked this project, the content was wonderful. Carnival of the Animals is a great piece, and I liked how you had the students relating the movements to their respective animals. It really encourages deeper thought.

  6. Anna, what a great idea for a fun project! I loved how you tied in the zoo and a real life application. I also sang Carnival of the Animals, so it was really fun for me. Great idea for a webquest, the layout was very easy to read, and I liked the links to the individual animals so that students knew what they were doing.
